What this site collects
Nothing. downhaul.ca is a set of static files. There is no account, no form, no newsletter, no comment field and no shopping basket, so there is nothing for you to submit and nothing for us to store.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not being asked. If measurement is added later it will be a cookie free product, and it will be named on this page on the day it is switched on.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records technical request data such as IP address, user agent and the page requested, in order to serve the site and defend it from abuse. That processing is Vercel’s, under its own policy, and we do not build profiles from it or combine it with anything else.
If you write to lawrence@downhaul.ca the message is received on Zoho Mail and read by Lawrence Luo. It is kept as long as the conversation is useful and it is not passed to anyone else or added to a mailing list. Ask and it will be deleted.
Questions and changes
Write to the same address. This page carries the date it last changed, at the top and in the footer, so you can tell at a glance whether it still describes the site you are looking at.
